Anastasis may ask for camera and microphone access when you record a Video presentation or join an interview. Your browser controls that permission, so the fix depends on where it was blocked.
First try the prompt
Open the Anastasis page that needs camera or microphone access.
When the browser asks, choose Allow or Allow while visiting the site.
If you changed the setting, refresh the page and try recording or joining again.
If you blocked it before
- Chrome: Open Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings, then choose Camera or Microphone. Find the Anastasis site and change the permission to Allow.
- Safari: Open Safari → Settings → Websites, then select Camera or Microphone. Set the Anastasis site to Allow.
- Firefox: Open Settings, go to Privacy & Security, then use Permissions for Camera or Microphone. Remove the blocked site or change it to Allow.
- Microsoft Edge: Open Settings and more → Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Site Permissions → All sites. Choose the Anastasis site and set Camera or Microphone to Allow.
Check the device too
If the browser is allowed but recording still fails, check your operating system privacy settings. On macOS, camera and microphone access live under System Settings → Privacy & Security. On Windows, check Start → Settings → Privacy & security → Camera and Microphone.
Then close and reopen the browser. Some permission changes do not apply until the browser restarts.
