Pairing connects the desktop agent to your Anastasis account. The pairing code is short on purpose: it is meant to be used immediately from the portal and then consumed by one device.
Pair the device
Open the contractor portal on the web and generate a new desktop pairing code.
Open Anastasis Desktop on the computer you want to use for tracked work.
On Connect this device, enter the Pairing code exactly as shown. The app automatically uppercases it.
Set a useful Device label. Use at least three characters and name the real computer, not just “Laptop”.
Click Connect device.
After pairing succeeds, run Refresh diagnostics and grant any missing permissions.
Why codes fail
- Invalid pairing code — the code was mistyped or came from the wrong account.
- Pairing code has already been used — each code can pair one device only.
- Pairing code has expired — codes expire after 10 minutes.
- Device label must be at least 3 characters — rename the device and try again.
After pairing
The app stores a device session locally and uses a device token for heartbeat, tracking, and evidence upload. If the device is revoked later, the app changes to REVOKED and tracking stops.
