Payments & Platform Fee

Understanding the 15% platform fee

How the platform fee is calculated, who pays it by default, and what changes if the client agrees to cover it.

Anastasis charges a flat 15% platform fee on the labor amount approved on each timesheet. The fee covers the platform itself: time tracking, the desktop agent, evidence storage, dispute tooling, and contractor payouts.

Who pays the fee

By default, the contractor pays the platform fee. It comes out of the approved labor amount, so the client’s invoice is the same as the approved amount, and the contractor’s payout is the approved amount minus 15%.

A client can choose to cover the fee at approval time. When that toggle is on:

  • The contractor receives the full approved amount.
  • The client is charged the approved amount plus 15%.

This is per-timesheet, not per-engagement — clients can decide one timesheet at a time.

Worked example

Say a contractor submits a timesheet for $1,000 of approved labor.

Who pays the feeContractor netClient total
Contractor (default)$850$1,000
Client$1,000$1,150

When the fee applies

The fee applies only to labor that ends in APPROVED state. If a timesheet is declined, reopened, or disputed, the disputed timesheet is not ready for payout and the fee is calculated only after the final approved amount is resolved.
