Anastasis sends email for two reasons: things you need to act on (verify your account, dispute a timesheet, reset your password) and things that keep you informed (new applications, weekly summaries). You can adjust the second category; the first you can’t.
Email categories
| Category | Examples | Adjustable? |
|---|---|---|
| Account & security | Email verification, password reset, suspicious-login alerts | No — required |
| Action required | Timesheet awaiting your review, dispute opened, payment failed | No — required |
| Activity updates | New application on your role, contractor accepted offer, payout sent | Yes |
| Weekly summaries | Your weekly approval queue, weekly earnings recap | Yes |
| Product news | New features, planned changes, occasional surveys | Yes |
The required categories are operationally critical — turning them off would mean missing a deadline, a charge, or a security event. The rest you control.

Unsubscribe links
Every adjustable email has an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it turns off that specific category for your account — not every email Anastasis sends. To unsubscribe from everything optional, use the Settings page (one toggle per category gives you finer control than the per-email link).
Emails landing in spam
If account email is missing, the most common causes are:
- The first verification email landed in spam — see verifying your email.
- Your email provider quarantined a bounce. Check your spam, promotions, and “all mail” folders.
- A typo at registration. If
you@compnay.comshould have beenyou@company.com, contact support — we can move your account to the correct address after verifying you.
Adding @anastasis.io to your contacts or safe-senders list prevents most of this.
Changing your email address
You can change the email address on your account from Settings → Account. The new address has to be verified before it takes effect — Anastasis sends a one-time verification link there, and the old address gets a notice that the change was requested.
If you’ve lost access to both addresses, contact support: we can verify your identity through other channels and recover the account.
Notification frequency
Activity emails (“new application,” “timesheet submitted”) are sent in near-real-time, with a small batching window so you don’t get five emails when five applications land in 30 seconds.
Weekly summaries are sent once a week, on Mondays in your account’s time zone.
There’s no daily-digest mode at launch. If you want one, tell us — it’s on the list.
