PTO and holidays for contractors

How paid time off and holidays work when the client configures the policy in the campaign setup.

Anastasis does not publish one platform-wide PTO promise for every contractor. Time off, paid holidays, and unpaid holidays are configured by the client in the campaign or engagement setup.

Check the role or engagement terms before assuming a holiday is paid.
Ask your client approver how they want time off requested and recorded.
Submit only time that matches the engagement rules for that campaign.
If the campaign treats a day as unpaid, do not add hours for that day unless your client tells you otherwise.

What to ask before taking time off

  • Is this time paid, unpaid, or made up on another day?
  • Who approves the absence?
  • Should it appear on the timesheet, or should the timesheet show only hours worked?
  • Does the holiday affect your weekly schedule or availability promise?

When in doubt, get the answer in writing before the week closes. That makes Monday review easier for your client and cleaner for Anastasis support if there is a dispute.
